    Hi All,

My wife was put on a 3 day week in March 2013 after she returned from maternity leave . She was full time for 12 years prior to this and went on maternity leave in last week of August 2012.where she works still don't have a requirement for her services on a full time basis.
So roughly 4 months ago her entitlement to JSB ran out and under means test she just about doesn't qualify for JSA.
My question is at what time does she re qualify for JSB? She had 30+ contributions in 2012 and 30+ contributions in 2013 and 52 in 2014 .

Will she qualify ever again for 2 days JSB if she remains on a 3 day week in her current employment?

Would she qualify for JSB if she was made redundant in the morning?

    Thanks.

She cannot requalify for jsb as her normal working week is 3 days pw so she doesnt have any substantial loss. If she were to be made redundant in the morning she would qualify for jsb again once she had 13 a class contributions paid after day 156 of her last claim.

Thanks . Out of interest if she did get back her 5 day week for a busy period in her job and then got reduced to a 3 day week again say two months later would she then qualify for JSB for the loss of the two days because she had been put on a three day week again?

Probably not. A 26 week period would probably be looked at in order to get a "level" i.e. average number of days worked over a period of time.
