Hi, I'm travelling to London this weekend and I was planning on using my BOI visa debit card for travelling on the London underground instead of an oyster card.  Will I incur any charges for using contactless payments in this manner in the UK?

    Hi KCTK

Thanks for coming to us here with your query.

Yes, for non-euro contactless transactions, charges do apply. It's 2% of the transaction value, with a maximum of E11.43 per transaction.

You can also see this on page 11 of our Fees & Charges Brochure here

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks
    Alison
