OH is trying to get her passport renewed and it seems one of the requirements is proof of address. Now because we just moved to a house I own where the bills are all in my name, she doesn't have this.
Her banking is all done online, and as we are only here for a few months, she hasn't notified them, ready to go phone etc.

Does anyone know if they will accept a letter from the homeowner ie me, or does she have to go and swear an affadavit or what?

She could just ring the bank and ask her to send a correspondence of some sort to your new address. Generally, any correspondence with a bank is accepted as proof of address.

Just change the address with the bank

Easiest one is to get the bank post her a transcript of banking fees for the quarter gone.

Proof of address is needed for a first time passport, not a renewal......so it seems.

Start charging her rent and give her a letter from her landlord.

Can't you just put a bill in her name or even get the bank to send out a statement? A new bank statement only takes a few days..

Does she have things like a
hospital appointment, phone bill, college letter, voting card, pay slip, anything that comes to the house with her address on it?
If all else fails ask your GP or dentist for a letter stating she is registered at that address with them.
