Amiko Alien 2 or Sab Triplex

    Hi

    I have a sky dish with 2 lnbs. I would like to connect these to a box with a Saorview ariel and have everything on a singe EPG. I would also like to record and watch at the same time from either of the 3 inputs.

    The Amiko Alien 2 or the Sab Triplex have been recommended as options for this setup with an external HD.

    Has anyone any experience of doing this and what are the advantages of either box?

    I too am interested in this so any information would be appreciated. is the Alien 2 worth the extra €35 over the SAB.

    Exactly the same ,only difference is the front panel. Images for one will work on the other.

    Thanks for that - so why do so many people seem to go for the Alien. is it just branding?
