We have an open gas fire (non-boiler) in our 13sqm living room, sofa is about 3m away from the fire. We want to replace it with (a low output) recessed cassette / inset gas or multi-fuel type stove. Can the firebox / firepit be raised off the floor - maybe up a foot off the floor??
