Hi I'm wondering if any film and art buffs can help me? I remember reading once that the end scene outside the opera house is a scene from a famous painting.Does anyone know what the painting is?
    Thanks in advance

I haven't heard about a painting but the scene outside the Opera House is similar to the closing scenes of the Opera they just watched (Cavalleria Rusticana)

    see attached as an example
