Hey guys, I am on the lookout for a newish car.
Im am inclining towards a volkswagan golf 1.6 Diesel TDI.
I am aware there are many different types of Golf, trendline, comfort, and highline. I also heard about the Bluemotion technology but I am not sure if those are included in these different types I just listed.
Highline would ideally be a great buy, one year olds are on the market for around 25k at the moment but I dont know if I could justify spending that amount of money. Is the highline worth the extra money?
Other cars I had my eye on are the toyota auris 1.4L Diesel but I think I might stick with a golf.

edit: sorry I should have posted this in the buying section

    Pangea,
It might be worth looking at the VW PCP offerings that the dealers are offering. You pay a deposit of up to 30% which is usually your trade in. Then you finance the middle third over 3 years and then theres another 30% balloon payment at the end or trade it in for a new car. VW are offering 1.9% finance if you buy a Highline whereas a Comfortline is 3.9% and a Trendline is 5.9%.
If you are a cash buyer then this won't be of use but if you are getting finance then it's a no-brainer.
