Put on then take off before getting in that's what I always did.

Would the electric blanket not mould into the memory foam with you when you lie on it?

It'll absorb the heat. Place the blanket on top of the bed sheet until it gets how warm enough for you and then take it off.

Guinness has memory foam too. It remembers which side I last drank from.

Memory foam mattresses are muck. My back is in serious sh1t after using one for a months.

On a side note. Me and the ex used share a water bed but we drifted apart.

Electric Blanket Over Memory Foam sounds like the title of an album a dodgy indie band from the midlands would have recorded around 1997.

    Tracklisting:
    1. In Memory of The Victims of The Great Barry's/Lyon's War.
    2. Pajo's Junkbox Jamboree
    3. Desert Boots in the Bog of Allen.
    4. Athlone 24/7
    5. Best and Brightest B-Movie Babies
    6. On the Scratcher Saturday.
    7. Electric Blanket Over Memory Foam
    8. Flagons of Cider, Wagon Wheels Inside Her.
    9. The Foreign Channel Surfer
    10. Parish Priest P(**********)

Get yourself a solid fuel stove with a back boiler and you'll have no more need for an electric blanket

Agreed, gets all toasty from your body heat in about 30 seconds. Saves on the leccy.

Just light a fire under the mattress. Saves on electricity bills.

This post should be fired into space as a Fin de siècle marker before civilisation finally collapses.

If it leaks on the electric blanket you'll be warm for the rest of your life.
