I have been let down by a co-worker that was to change the timing belt kit and water pump on my 1.8 petrol peugeot 407.

I have all the parts got, would anyone recommend a mechanic around north/west Dublin or even the city centre,i dont mind travelling a bit.

I used Eamonn at Clonsilla Service center for a crankshaft sensor replacement on a BMW.
I had the part already and he charged me about €130 to install. Normally i would have done this myself, but it turned out to be a PITA to replace. As far as i know it took a good while to replace but he only charged me for a couple hours labour.

I was very pleased with that as it saved me hours of pain and hassle.

Have also used Boyle Motors in Laraghcon previously and cannot fault them.

Perhaps give both of them a call for a price.

Whomever it is, Make sure you get a VAT inclusive quote though!! - i almost always forget this bit myself.
