Maybe not the right forum to ask but:

For those of you who have sociophobia, what steps have you taken to resolve it?

I've been told i should 'get out' and meet people...but don't even know where to start.

One person suggested Toastmasters to me...right now that seems the definition of abject fear to me.

I know i'm kind of all over the place on this one, but suggestions on how i might work on he above would be appreciated.

    (thanks)

Talk to your gp. That was my first step and helped set me on the path of recovering from where I was before that(At that time my phobia was 11/10 it was so bad and affecting me so much)

As JuliusCaesar says contact SocialAnxietyIreland or St Patricks Anxiety service for the best help
