As a leaving Cert student this year, picking my college courses has been on my mind as of late. Firstly, my plan was to do physics but because of lack of job opportunities (correct me if I am wrong) I have made a plan to do engineering first, and after my degree branch of into a physics related masters/PhD. My question is this; is this plausible and/or advisable? Any feedback at all will be much appreciated, thank you in advance!
