Insurance gone up

    Who are ye with folks and what ye paying for car & tractor tpft? Best quote he got was 680. Not bad I suppose but curious what others are paying

    farm and house insurance went up 15% no claims and exact same cover

    Jeep insurance came down 25% but FBD had the saddle on for a while. Still with them on reduced premium

    as mentioned in another thread, I took the plunge and removed the saddle and the Vasaline, and changed to zurick. cover levels similar and went from tpft on tractor to fully comp, also got more machines covered. lots of T&C's around power washers cover though, must be stored in locked shed, and will only pay out a few quid

    Insured jeep yesterday. 1997 trooper with fbd, tpf&t, 250 euro including IFA discount. Farm public liability, 3rd party only, 280 euro.

    Definitely won't be going with this crowd any way there in some pickle.

    its looking like making any claims on insurance is going to cost you in the long run, evening being in an accident that is not your fault (i.e. other persons insurance pays 100% of the cost) will result in increased premiums come renewal time.
