Does 'cooling off period' apply to ferry bookings

I booked a ferry crossing last week to France with Stena Line sailing in July. I took the Economy option which means that I would have to pay 25 Euro to make an alteration which was not a problem. However I only just noticed that if I needed to cancel the trip I would lose the whole amount I paid. I paid the trip in full as it wouldn't accept a deposit when booking on-line.

Just wondering are Ferry bookings covered by the 'cooling off period' that applies to other purchases on-line. I was thinking of cancelling if I could and then booking again but not using the economy option this time.

I did ring them and they said they don't do 'cooling off periods'
