Looking for suggestions for a good quality engraver for a watch in Dublin city please...They seem to vary in quality, if anyone has any personal experience please?

Ok so this probably won't help as it's not a recommendation for Dublin (or even Ireland) but seeing as there have been no other posts so far I'm going to point you to this thread on Tz-uk. Guy got the back of his Rolex Datejust engraved. It's stunning work IMO.

Here is a link to the engraver in the UK that did it :

if you were to look at buying online, someone like Stowa will engrave for about 80 euro

they make cracking watches and are made for you..so couple months lead time

    www.stowa.de

Also, someone like Steinhart, great watches and great prices with plenty left over for engraving elsewhere.

    www.steinhartwatches.de

easily get a great watch with change from a grand

both are well know in the watch world...but not by the day to day person

safe to buy from online and great after sales service

    Hi,

I'm looking to have the caseback of my own watch engraved for a special reason and was wondering if you managed to find someone to do yours and if so if you'd mind sharing your thoughts/giving a recommendation?

I love the work done on this project - http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?304964-New-Incoming-Rolex-Caseback-Engraving. The caseback I want engraved is very similar but the work I want done wouldn't be as complex as I only want letters and numbers.

I guess I could send the caseback to the lady who did the above project (http://www.artemiswilddesign.co.uk) but I'd prefer to deal with someone local (Dublin) if possible.

    Cheers.
