I'm trying to repair a leak in a Kenwood dishwasher, model number KDW12ST3A
I can see the pipe that has come away and a jubilee clip will fix it.
Problem is removing the side panels to allow access.
there is an extra panel over the door hinges on each side and I can't, for the life of me, figure how to to get the damn thing apart to remove the panel completely to allow repairs.
I don't know if I'm supposed to remove the whole door or what, even the lower front panel, beneath the door, doesn't appear easy to remove.

Any help would be gratefully received.

OK, got the side off and fixed the leak.
    No more E4 error.
But the dishwasher won't allow me to select a program either.
It beeps, display pops up all lit elements then just three dashes.
If I turn on the machine whose holding the program delay button I go into some test function and it displays 18 and counts down 10 as it runs through various steps before stopping on 10.
    And that's it
So, can someone help me with this?

This was resolved the other week.
I'll mention it here as it doesn't seem to be discussed anywhere on the internet I can see.

Basically the machine continued to display the above behaviour for about 4/5 days.
After this it reverted to normal function, and I could set a washing program as usual and off it went.
I can assume that the issue was the persistent damp as a result of the initial leak/flood and it simply needed some time to dry out.

So, happy days and I hope this helps someone out.

Turns out this same dishwasher has another issue, only the sprayer on the top level is working, it's been this way for some time.
Seems that, upon investigating the previous problem, that the valve that operates when you select a half load sticks closed and so the lower spray fails to work.
The easy solution is to open the valve and stick it open, or remove it all together, seeing as the option has never been used.
Now I have some more confidence in opening the blessed machine I must have a crack at this.
