    Hi all,

We booked holiday today to named resort... Looks really fab, just wondering if anyone else has been there and can advise what sort of day trips they offer, also any recommendations of what to do in surrounding areas.

Stayed there last yr(our 7th yr in holidaying in France) and had a ball. Site has everything you could ask for and you could well not bother to leave it at all during your hols. We didnt do any site trips but drove into spain and stayed overnite there. visited some lovely towns nearby St Cyprien, Argeles sur mer. Perpignan is nearby and is a lovely city and the walled city of Carcassonne is a little further. There is a little road train that serves the site and brings you into Canet and back. Bar and restaurant on site are fine if a little pricey but hey its France and you expect that.Pint is €5 and they have long neck bulmers. Kids clubs run twice a day and kept our 2 busy, and shows in the evening were good. Lots of Irish there so kids will meet plenty of friends. If your driving over throw a couple of those cheap scooters into the car, kids will use them to get around as site is quite big. All in all its a fab site and you'll really enjoy it there.
