    i was there the other day with a couple visiting from Canada. they went in behind the giant mound of soil at the entrance gates (ie the entrance to the right that is blocked) and were up to their ankles in discarded rubbish bags and crap. it was terrible.

    That's a pity, really bad impression of that place when that happens. Ducketts Grove is meant to be one of the better sites to visit, when that happens people think "what is the rest of the place like so?"

    I presume you mean the archway at the Towers ? I regularly ring to have refuse from fly tippers removed and in fairness, it does get removed.
