Hoping to get away with the better half to a winter destination. A while back we spent a week in the hills over looking Oslo. Pure magic.

So looking for something similar as Norway is quite expensive does anyone have any experience or suggestion for another European winter destination.

    Activities

    Skiing ( cross country)
    Tobogganing
    Hiking
    Dog sledge

    Some nice restaurants etc.

Looking forward to ideas and places you all have been.

    Thanks in advance :)

Bad Hofgastein might work for you, not hugely isolated but a pretty Austrian town with good crosscountr and hiking. Plus this gem of relaxation spot.

Magical once you get away from the touristy bits

Sass Fee & Zermatt and the Jangfrau in Switzerland would be too of the list!

Courmayer and Madonna del campinio in Italy and maybe Megeve in France

All would be pricey enough (not the Italian ones) but they are as chocolate box and perfect as you can get some may offer sleigh rides rather than dog sledding

Is it better to fly to Turin or Geneva for these resorts?
