Premier Irish Forestry Fund

    Has anyone around these parts invested in PIFF in the past? I invested around 2001, but the company has gone belly up. Just wondering if any others were caught out too.

    Thanks Frogdog. Plenty info there alright about forestry funds, but not the specific fund I was looking for. It seems to have simply taken the investors' money, and died. No dividends, no annual reports, nothing.

    Hi Outfox,

    I assume these are pretty much the same as the Seventh Irish Forestry Fund.

    I invested in them a number of years back and the shares have matured but no signs of any returns. Their communication on the whole thing is very poor, apparently they had 2 buyers in December but they just reissued me the financial results and no mention of the supposed interested parties. Pretty annoyed at this stage.

    But I doubt much can be done?
