As the title says, what phone is the best within that price range?

Edit:The phone is for personal use, basically anything modern good specs, camera etc.

Specification required? Off the bat, has to be the Moto G, Moto G 2014 (5" Version) or Nexus 5.

1+1 is the best at that range for general all around usage. If you need specific things then you get more varied

oneplus one. pop over to the invite thread, loads just being posted.
€358 if you go parcel motel route, 3gb & 64gb, sure its a big screen but worth it, nfc, battery lasts over a day on mine, camera is stunning too. feels very premium as well.
The moto phones are ok, but the cameras are only 5mp iirc, i could be wrong though.

The 5'' Moto G has an 8mp shooter which is supposed to be much better than the 5mp one on the first generation models.
