How much off list price for a 'new' 2014 demo?

If I were to buy a 2014 demo car (mileage < 1000 km.) from a garage in early 2015, how much off list price could I hope to get, assuming a cash purchase?

Hypothetical question so I can't say which make/model.

Unfortunately there is no one size fits all answer or formula to the question.

It will depend on the make and model and the margin the dealer has on it. It will also depend on supply and demand of the particular model. A dealer can afford to be less generous with his discount on a car that is in short supply and he knows he has no problem selling it, compared to a model that is coming to the end of it's production life or is not a great seller.

I'd be inclined to say you could pick up a 2015 demo for whatever you get a 2014 demo for if you're persistent enough.
