Great, isn't that where all the best stuff is made these days? :D

Seriously though, I'm currently 'borrowing' my mates BIC but now need to get my own board so just wondering how it compares to something like a BIC, NSP or Cortez equivalent? I'm a 45-year old, 12 stone, reasonably fit weekend warrior who only gets out once every 2-3 weeks. I've been surfing for less than 2 years so looking for something to progress on. I'm able to catch, pop-up and ride 70-80% of the time but looking to up my wave count, learn to turn better, do cut-backs, etc before (hopefully) moving on to a shorter board.

I'm loving the shape of the Tiki, the 5-fin set up & the price but anyone out there with any hands-on experience? I'll be looking at getting the 7' 10" version...

Tiki have been around for a long time and must know what they are doing you won't go that far wrong but it's a mass produced board and some far east boards have a bad rep.

This might be a good bet

You can also get them to make you a custom board for you
