    Hi all,

    question;
    yesterday a man trespassed on my property and took a dog out of my (unlocked) backroom he claimed was his. I had found the dog along side the road in september, reported her to the warden.
    I obviously called the gardai, but they stated he could prove the dog was his.Fair enough. However, I am highly disturbed by the fact that this individual trespassed on my property, walked into my backroom ( I know he was inside cause the adjacent room door had been opened-I keep dogfood in there and it's always closed as otherwise the dog kept in the backroom while I'm at work will eat / destroy the feed). I would like to press charges re trespassing and illegal entry/burglary.Any thoughts?:mad:

    Mod,

    go speak to a solicitor if you want to pursue any legal action.

    However, i would be curious if you were aware that this dog belonged to the other individual and if you refused to give him back what was his leaving him feeling like he had no other option to retrieve what is his.

    You should speak to a solicitor.
