Just walked home from the pub on what is surely the loveliest night in the history of the universe, the moon is beaming, the trees are stilll, everything is beautiful.

I dunno what it is like where you are, but if it is anything like here, you are truly blessed. Go out and have a fag if you are a smoker, a swig if you are a drinker, a dry shite if you are . . well whatever.

I dare anyone to deny this is the best night there has ever been. Do your best.

Na, I've been everywhere man, I've seen many beautiful nights, many beautiful sights, many beautiful . . er. . tights, but nothing, nothing, compares to a beautiful clear crisp January night on your own doorstep.

I feel like a modern day Aesop tonight.

The pub I drink in only sells proper beer, Smithwicks, Guinness and sweet sweet Tennents.:)

If they sold gorgeous moonlit nights I'd never leave

No, that coincided with a massive rise of STIs.

    And threat of nuclear war.

Things are pretty cool now compared to pasts of the past. Sure be great to get a time machine and visit Woodstock, but we're living in a great age now.

Was just outside myself, what a lovely night, 9 degrees too.

Spent 20 minutes sitting out in the garden with a pint of bud and a spliff and it's very mild I have to say. Very cloudy though and only getting glimpses of the moon. Nice night though. 10°c here.

Not sure what Vauxhall Cavaliers have to do with it but whatever:pac:

Anyhow, I wonder what amazing song Ronnie Van Zany would write about tonight if he were alive, it would be mesmerising.

It was a remarkably nice night. I was only outside for a wee bit though, moving house and buying a burrito. Outdoors pints could definitely have been had.

Last night wasn't the clearest night ever out my way but it is a lovely feeling to lie on the grass and stare up at the vastness of the night skies. I'm fortunate to live in a remote, high spot and on a clear night it is surely invigorating to be a part of it all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,434 ✭✭✭Robsweezie
