Implication of I-grade on Graduation

    Just looking for a bit of general advice here, maybe someone knows somebody who was in the same boat.

    I'm in 4th year but had to apply for an i-grade for 1 exam before Christmas. Does this mean I can't graduate this August as repeats are on the same time as graduations?

    I will get in touch with the lecturer once we're back to college but just seeing if anyone else has come across this before. Thanks!

    I'm 99% sure that it means you'll have to graduate during the Winter graduations once you've cleared the I-Grade, so that would be 18-20 January next year.

    Worth looking into with the lecturer in question.
    4.2.3.12
    a. All clearance grades will be processed following the annual repeats only.
    b. In the case of prospective graduating students, clearance of I grades awarded from the Autumn semester only will be processed either before the Summer Exam Board or after the annual repeats.
