Ideas on how to find problems with this xbox motherboard?

When I press the power it turns on, beeps and spins the fan; it then turns off again. I am thinking I need to check underneath the board for bad solder joints or something? I haven't got it removed from the case yet. Any ideas appreciated....Thanks.

Any red rings on the power on button? Is the fan giving it loads or normal operation?
