Well as the title suggests my Chromecast won't connect to the WiFi during set up, it just keeps failing to connect.
My broadband router is from eircom Zyxel F1000.
How do I sort it so it'll work, as I don't want to return it as I only got it today.

EDIT: Factory reset the router and all works perfectly now. Thanks for the suggestions though folks.

Have you MAC address filtering turned on?

What channel is your wifi on ?
I think it only operates on 1-10 ?

Same thing happened to the brother in law, contact eircom and tell them you need a newer modem because your old one won't connect to chrome cast.

How old is your MDM ?. I used CCast with my Eircom zytel no issues but no SKY is a pain. If your router is an old one get onto Eircom and see if you can get a new one
