Hello there, I am starting a new job near to St Vincent's hospital and I was just wondering which bus would get me to this area faster the 46a or the 7?
I would be leaving Dun laoghaire at approx. 8.40 and aim to be there for 9.30am if not earlier
    cheers

The 7 is the best bet. The 7 is a pain with traffic in blackrock village but it stops outside the hospital whereas the 46a I feel is quicker although traffic can be a bit crap in deansgrange and you would have to walk down nutley lane to the hospital.
What about the dart to Sydney parade its about 10min walk to hospital

You could also consider taking the DART. It's about 10 minutes from Dun Laoghaire station to Sydney Parade station, then another 8-10 minute walk from the DART station to St. Vincents.

I would go with the 7 because all you have to do is cross the road, while you have a bit of a walk form sydney parade station.
