    looks like one

    Bank Vole 9-11 cm
An introduced rodent , it can be recognized by reddish brown coat and short tail .
Found in Hedges and woodland restricted in Ireland , to the South west where it is locally common.

Where roughly was photo taken in Ireland?

Bank vole are known for their tameness. The only similar looking Irish mammal the brown rat would not let you handle it.
