Anyone had problems with Amazon paying by Credit Card?

    Strange one I've never had before? Same credit card I've been using with Amazon and paying with by euro since 1999 raised an issue over the payment currency (OK I've updated the details a few times but same CC number).

    Email from them said
    We're writing to let you know that we are having difficulty processing your Mastercard for one or more items in the above transaction.
    Firstly checked card was OK (balance) and it all checked out then went to update my order details and all that Amazon would let me do was change the order to buy in sterling? I can't remember the exact message but it was something about the wrong currency set up but nothing has changed?

    Cancelled the order and reordered as I often do in Euro - I know its cheaper to order in Sterling - now waiting to see if I get another email to say they are having problems processing the transaction?

    Might be no harm to give your credit card provider a call too, just to see if they have flagged any transactions

    I'll give them a call on Monday, might even try their online help.

    OOOPS :o Updated card recently and typed 01 instead of 10 as the month :o
