What combi. TV for DTT and satellite?

I'd like a TV with integrated Irish DTT and satellite tuners. Doesn't have to be smart, support the Freesat or Saorview EPGS, etc. - plain vanilla is fine.

Some of the LG TVs on sale in Ireland - esp. the 42LB550V, 42LB561V, 42LB570V - are listed in different places as supporting DVB-S2, but the LG site doesn't confirm this.

After much research I can't get a definitive answer online - perhaps a member has personal experience?

Alternatively, what combination TVs would you recommend that are currently on the market?

I don't know about LGs, but so far any combi TV I've seen must be set to UK to make Freesat work which then put the Irish channels randomly in the 800's although they can be re-ordered. Using IRL as the setting gives only now and next EPG and random satellite channel order. Also switching between sat and terrestrial Is very cumbersome. For similar money (maybe cheaper) get a decent HD TV and combi box that gives 7day EPG, combined channels lists and multi recording options

    Hi Gerry,

I didn't think it was possible to get a combi box which blended Saorview DTT and UK Freesat satellite into one 7 day EPG with single remote, series recording etc etc? Can you link to the box you are referring to?

Have a look in the terrestrial forum for something like an "Amiko Alien 2" or suppliers sites such as this or this
I've no connection to either company, just a happy customer
