Kryptonite new York, is there a spring inside it

My lock has been nearly impossible to remove lately so a few days ago I decided to see could I free things up a bit. I pulled the covers of the lock and without realizing the innards came flying out onto a messy floor.

Its all back together now and seems to be working fine but this evening I found a little spring while tidying up and I'm wondering is it part of the lock? Anyone know, I've only found the one spring so far.

Not that I know of but anytime mine has gotten stiff a water displacement spray with lubricant sorted it quickly.

Looks like it contains two springs, going by that video.
Don't understand a word of it.:(

Without viewing the vid, the prongs probably push the little prongs into the lock. I'll have to find the other one so or rob one out of a pen!

It was a wrestling match getting the lock open, really had to jank at it. I cleaned everything up and gave it all a good coat of grease and she's as smooth as can be now!
