Hi have for a while had the thought of taking a few days and running between places such as Dublin to Belfast or Limerick to Galway, or Paris to Berlin. Just think it could be a lovely adventure sometime. Not in a position to up sticks now, but maybe some time. Am I alone in dreaming of this ? :)

Comrades would be one I would like to do.Durban/Pietermaritzburg but like most races its the route and not the start and finish that I would care about. Similarly Boston

There used to be club relay races, like Cork to Dublin , Galway to Dublin. My next door neighbour ( a few years ago) was a great runner with Donore many years ago and he had a scrapbook with the paper cuttings of all these amazings races.

There used to be races between cork-Dublin and Belfast-Dublin before people started calling them ultras.

Seoul to Pyongyang is at the top of my list. A proper challenge.

I was part of one of those relays back in the late 80s. Think we got into trouble, our female trio hic behaving badly... :-/
