Flash player stops working in vista.

    Just reset laptop to factory settings. Went to "gemcraft-chasing shadows" game site. Downloaded flash player as requested and flop. It says it stopped working. Old laptop running on vista 32 bit with 1 gig RAM and celeron 900 processor. Old version of flash player by any chance or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks in advance folks. (BTW I cannot afford a new laptop so have to make do for now) :(
