Is there any hotels in Killarney that would allow you to bring your bike into the hotel room over night instead of leaving it in the car ?

I've done this in numerous hotels around Ireland none in Killarney unfortunately but all without issue. Some offer to leave it in the staff area but I usually ask to bring it to my room and it's never an issue.

Although if you're asking about doing so around the time of the ring of Kerry you might be in bother.

Yes I'm looking now for ring of Kerry time, want a hotel so the wife can come too with the child so have somewhere to relax.

I'd say most hotels are near fully booked for those dates so you may not have much of a choice.

Might have to look outside of Killarney then - could drive into the town in the morning for the start

Scotts in Killarney have always let me bring my bike in to the room and this is during the RoK. They have a vacant shop unit for bike storage too but I've never needed to use it.

Stayed in glen eagle hotel numerous times and most people brought bikes up to room. No bother.

Stay in Kenmare. Cycle Molls Gap to start and finish in Kenmare.

Wife can enjoy Beara peninsula and Kenmare while you cycle. Hotel at junction of Sneem road and Molls Gap road is nice

I agree with Ford. Several hundred begin the Ring in Kenmare.
Most of the hotels are bike friendly.
The Brook Lane Hotel in particular is owned and run by a keen cyclist. They have bike facilities.

Club stays in the towers at least once a year and we all bring bikes into the room without any problem

Even with a small group I leave the bike in a storeroom. Bike-stealing scumbags don't work or stay in hotels.

Stayed in the riverside in 2013 for the ring of Kerry. No problem bringing bikes into the room

The Gleneagle let people bring their bikes to the rooms during the Killarney Adventure Race.

The Dunloe will take your bike and lock it in a storeroom.

I often bring my bike into my hotel room - it never even occurred to me that I wouldn't. Bit I'd be respectful of the hotel too - if it was wet I'd put newspaper under it and be careful of walls etc.
