blocking a number to stop texts?

    Is it possible to block a number from your phone to stop texts? Its a huawei android phone and I can't see any options.

    Ring the network, they might be able to block its receipt.

    Try:
    Add the number as a contact
    Then in the settings of the contact - add it to the reject list

    I use an app called "Auto SMS"

    It doesn't block senders per se. I use it to autorespond to unwanted texters saying something like: "Error 2006. This number is unavailable. Your message could not be delivered".

    Coupled with the phone's (Note 3) ability to add numbers to a reject list - meaning the caller gets a "busy" or "unobtainable" tone - that generally does the trick!
