hdmi port?

    looking at this laptop and the main reason im buying one is to connect it to my tv with a hdmi cable so does anyone know if thats possibe with this laptop .

    From http://www.pcworld.ie/product/acer-cb3111-116-chromebook/324771/393.6#tech it does seem to have a hdmi port. Provided the TV also has a hdmi port, it'll be fine. I presume this is to watch movies etc, rather than reading books or something on the tv!

    And would you say its a decent laptop? I have a hd tv so im fine there.

    Its for watching sport , i have sky go but have nothing to play it on

    JUst seen on that link it doesnt have an ethernet port? No good to me so

    I never really looked into the chromebooks. From what I think I heard, you get best use out of them by connecting to the internet. I also seem to recall a recent thing where you can run linux in a window on a chrome book, so that gives a lot of extra options I would think.

    There doesn't seem to be much in the way of storage space on these, but that's probably normal. Get a USB drive for your movies and you'll be fine.

    As you said, no wired connection, but it does have wireless access.
