I have been Club PRO of my local GAA Club for the last couple of years and run the Facebook page, website, Twitter and take photos at games. People involved with the club often compliment and thank me for my good work. However, I often wonder what are the benefits in the long term for the Club of keeping all members up-to-date. Do people feel more a part of the club if they are getting more updates? Does it encourage younger members?
