I've looked through the info thread but there don't seem to be any bodywork restorers listed. Anyone have any recommendations?

The "G" word has no place in classic cars - its beards and beer with sticks in for me :-)

Merrion, are you looking for someone to carry out a complete restoration or just to have some bodywork/ individual panel attended to. Also, what make/model of vehicle ?

    Triumph GT6 Mk 3

I don't think it needs a full restoration but it needs lots of fettling, some rust removal, and a respray - in particular the "webasto" sun roof is in need of total repair or (more likely) removing and filling in the space....

I have an initial €5k budget and if needed could go above that if it turns out to be a bigger job.

Good choice. Nice Car :) . Hold onto the Webasto. Just get it retrimmed or keep your eye out for a good secondhand one. Gt6's are known to get very warm on long Summer drives. I picked up a complete Webasto for mine in the UK last month.

I am 9 months into restoring my own GT6 here. It's slow work but enjoyable. I do not have the time to work on it as much as I would like.

Croppyboy has an excellent thread on the Projects Board covering his Spitfire restoration.

Cheers Unfit :) Had a look at your site just now, very impressive! I think I had already mentioned that I had been to see your GT6 but walked when I seen the work that was required (little did I realise the work I would later be taking on! :pac: ) Great to see it coming together, be interesting to see how you get on with the tub.
