    Hello

Anyone know where to buy a curry leaf tree? Will they survive indoors in Ireland?

    Thanks
    David

According to the folks at the Citrus Centre curry leaf trees do well indoors if kept at temperatures above 15c. At £65 for a plant at 3 and a half feet, it would be an expensive experiment - how will the plant perform once the leaves are harvested? An alternative could be to source some seeds and propagate many smaller plants, using them up as needed.

This guy sells seeds all around the world http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TYGk1ZLToJ0 but in small quantities and between Sept and Oct, so there is a waiting list. Seeds need to be fresh to propagate.

Also worth noting, curry leaf tree is deciduous, so it will drop its leaves in the winter, even indoors.
