sky multiroom without phone line or boardband

    Hey. I live in a rented house and we want to 4 sky box on one account. Sitting room and 3 bedroom. We all have mobile broadband for on demand stuff

    If you are asking do you need a phone line, then no. If you want on demand etc then you will need bb.

    I have the sky cables at my home and go home at weekend could I bring my sky box from rented bedroom at weekend and would it work.

    Technically you could. However, it against sky's t&c's. You can use sky go when your on the move too.

    if your have 4 rooms

    have sky in the main the TV room

    have freesat/saorview in 3 other room all from the same dish
    most people watch is UK/Irish free tv

    Thank for that info. But question is if we got sky in 4 room without phone line how does know. I have all 4 in the house and not anywhere esle.

    You don`t need a phone line for the boxes to work with on demand. All you need your boxes to be conected to the internet. Some sky boxes are not wi-fi ready so you will need a wireless adaptor attached in the back of the box then connect the boxes to your wifi network.

    Nothing, I dont think its illegal as long as you call sky and ask for your card to be activated at your new location.

    Sky don't track boxes without phone lines any more, belt away with it. You'll be grand.
