I've seen both better and worse. It went on a bit long.

I've seen better, I've seen worse but I can't say I didn't enjoy it. That Paloma Faith chick was a bit annoying throughout but her voice for her last song was quality. The missus wasn't impressed with the versions of Paolo's Pencil nor Ed's current one

To be fair, its hard to get a crowd of Celebs into a jubilant New Years mood in November. Saying that there was some good music on, both new, and a few classics. Not the usual manufactured, one hit wonders that you might get on other celebrity line up programs.

Yes it might have gone on about 15-20 minutes too long, but up to that it was pretty entertaining. Maybe drop some of the none music items, as some of the fillers were a bit meh.

Seems i'm on my own then...:(

I only watched it to see Wilko Johnson tbh....no interest in all that big band jazz / soul/gospel nonsense he seems to like these days...
    Bring back the OGWT.....:)

Usually it's recorded around 20th December. Not sure of this year's date.

There's a good article in the Culture section of today's Sunday Times about the planning and production of the show.
