Help identifying c64 flying game?

Hi,
I'm trying to track down a game I have vague memories of playing. It was a f lying game that involved airplanes racing each other (air rally).

I found this game online (Gee Bee Air Rally)

that seems like an almost perfect match for what I remember.

However the problem is I don't remember my game having any cutscenes or special graphics in it, such are featured in Gee Bee. This makes me suspect Gee Bee is not the game I'm looking for.

Can anyone think of any games that were similar Gee Bee, except without the elaborate cutscene sections?

Just to clarify, the game I'm looking for had the same 'flying towards the horizon, with plane on screen' graphical style as that 'Gee Bee' game. So if it doesn't have that same/similar look then it's certainly not the game I'm thinking of.

In fact, if it wasn't for the various cut scene graphics in the 'Gee Bee' game then I'd be fairly certain that it WAS Gee Bee. That's how similar Gee Bee appears to look to the game I'm thinking of.

No idea about the game but if you really think it might be Gee Bee it probably is and its your memory that is wrong. I'm guessing its been in the order of 25 years since you first played it, in that time parts of your memory will have faded or disappeared while others have become more prominent. Certainly that has been my experience when looking back at old games and TV programs from my youth.
