No prices yet but 2 that ill be having a hungover look at in the morning markets will be

Thurles 12.05 Utmost Zeal, finished behind Sizing John in a decent maiden, traveled well for a long way and cooper looked after him once he made a mistake, hopefully a good e/w shot against the likely Mullins Jolly. Will be having a solid e/w bet at 7/2 or bigger.

Chelt 1.20 Really like Ptit Zig, loved how he jumped at ascot, has to give weight away but i think he is the class act, would love to see 2/1 about him but have a feeling he'll be odds on and will just have to watch

    1 55 Cheltenham.

Really like champion court for this. Some support already and a stand out 16s with ladbrokes. Dropped to a mark of 143 think he is more than capable off this mark.

Have veen watching him with interst this seaaon and really think tomorrow coukd ve the day. 2 pts ew will hopefully get the new year off to a flyer.

anyone fancy rock on ruby? 3/1

backed volnay du thaix last time out against ruby but the way ruby won has me thinking she will take a world of beating here and the course form speaks for itself
Of the opposition..only olofi has actually won here
think the fav is beatable even in receipt of the weight

    12.55 Fairyhouse
    Isabellesprincess e/w @ 10/1
Good run expected today, failed to deliver on bumper start but will go better over timber. PTP form is decent and was highly regarded as was set of fav for last 3 PTP runs, (4/6, 9/10, 1/1).

    3.05 Cheltenham
    Vaniteux @ 15/8

    3.10 Forever Gold 5/1 Fhouse

Russell and cheeckpieces = happy new year

interesting to see how Sharks horse goes in the bumper at Cheltenham, has been talking him up all week, nothing new there, but interesting that he has BJ up

Montana Slim went very close three days ago, runs again today in the 3:10 at Fairyhouse and I would not be at all surprised to see it win. Carrying no weight whatsoever - 6/1 best price.

8/1 last night into 7/2 now, he has told the world about this one, best he ever trained.

You would have to think Rock On Ruby should have too much firepower even giving 8lbs, 3/1 looks a great price.

That said, seems to be a few quid about for the Henderson horses

Course specialist Carmela Maria has to be worth a poke at 8/1 in the last at Catterick, down to a career low mark.

Did a small e/w Super Yankee for the interest on the tv

    Champagne West 4/1
    Ericht 9/1
    Ulzana's Raid 4/1
    Tiptoeaway 8/1
    Hawk High 13/2

Also clobbered some of that 3/1 on Rock on Ruby. It just seems too too big.

1:55 Ericht. Barry Geraghty riding at his lowest weight of 10st 6.

Ptit Zig looks fairly bomb proof, going to have a tiny saver on Little Job just incase.

Vaniteux getting 8 pounds from Rock On Ruby. Very smart form on the track, step up in trip should suit. He'll do for me.

Paddys still going 5/1Ptit to win any race at the festival

He was the same last time flying late, got out paced before the home turn, so frustrating.

Rock on Ruby heart of a lion. My money will be on him in the Champion Hurdle. Will not finish out of the top 3 imo.

Cant believe Fry wants to go the World Hurdle instead of the Champion. Strong pace over 2 miles would be right up his street and I think hes a better horse than he was when he last won it. Madness.

    FFS

My Bet365 account is still not working. Missed out on another crack at Rock on Ruby and then the tip for Elliots horse. Had also tried to get on McCoy in the last at 5-1 and failed. I see it is 9-4 now.

I dont have multiple accounts anymore and just stick with one. Im closing the Bet365 account after todays nonsense. Anyone suggest a good alternative?

    888 I find decent enough

wouldnt ever close a bet365 account...youll end up regretting with their soccer offers like today

Agree with this. Closed my account and regretting it, betting with Hills and VC but they have no in play betting. VC dont let you watch a race after the off.

Going to reopen my b365 acc

The bumper winner for Elliott is another example of Elliott reaching the big time, that's twice in the last week he has had winners for big UK owners, just the added firepower he needs to challenge WP Mullins

spectacular achievement by him in just a few years to become such a force in Irish racing

Shark's horse ran well enough to suggest he might win a small race somewhere - probably take him a dozen runs to achieve this though

Was it a misprint or did it only cost 800GBP?

Seen it in the RP earlier. And Shark saying it's one of the best he's trained.

Bizarre decision alright, he still travels and jumps and has the heart for a battle. I was surprised they went chasing with him.

If Vaniteux is a contender then I don't know why ROR isnt going to the Champion given he is better on spring ground and well held him today giving weight.

More Of That is waiting in the World Hurdle.

Stunned when he mentioned the WH. Doubtful stayer imo. Hopefully the owners have the sense to send him to the CH. Even Fehily was hinting after it that he would like to give the CH another tilt.

I think they should, given how competitive he was in some decent Champion Hurdles.

I taught vaniteux jumping today was pretty bad, every jump just looked like he was losing momentum., without ever making a blunder , maybe the ground was a bit sticky for him.
Better days ahead for vaniteux on good ground.
Rock on ruby would struggle to place in champion hurdle so I think the world hurdle is worth a crack as if he stays he should win.
Will stay on ptit zig side from now on very impressive how he chased down champagne west.

Better ground will suit both, ROR has impressed me by how he has travelled through his last 2 races, the drop back to 2 will help how he likes to run there is no doubt he could be competitive.

More Of That looks a superstar and ROR is unproven over 3 miles so the CH is the smarter option.

Ptit Zig looks very good, even though he made a few jumping how he picked up the smart Champagne West was impressive

In the champion hurdle it is very difficult to see ROR beating either faugheen or the new one so I think he is just looking to place.
As I said he could very well get 3 miles on better ground especially how he travelled yesterday and if he does stay he would be in first 2.
I think trainer is targeting whatever race he has better chance of winning and it looks to be world hurdle.
