    Hi there,
I'm looking for some guidance or a pointer in the right direction. Does anyone know where I'd go to / get / develop a Skype like device where the caller could answer the call at the other end ie open the line. A bit like viewing a remote CCTV but where the caller is also displayed on video at the receiving end and can talk to the receiver and be seen at the receiver's end also. A video phone but where the caller opens the line and doesn't require the call to be answered.

I may be in the wrong forum, any guidance or pointers would be appreciated.

    Thanks

There are two types of protocols involved in modern day video/audio. SIP and H323. There are plenty of SIP devices out there that can do what you describe. But what you want would need some serious work involved, due to the existence of dialler bots on the web.

    Thanks Cuddlesworth,

Will investigate both protocols and dialler bots.
