    From recent spring prices if you feed this calf on to a month old you should get €450 for it.

    Maybe but €500+ last spring wasn't unusual so may as well go to mart, I would feed it on for a month until volume of sales increases... or €500 on DD, take €475

    if you can find some clown to give you 500 for a freemartin heifer calf make sure you pm me his number. i bought a couple of badly done weanlings for less than that, and they will be turned around an awful lot faster.

    i dont know will top dollar be got for a freemartin but a pretty price enough id say, continental calf prices were always ridicouous imo
