    MRI are the same as rotbunt I think had a few dangerous rotbunt bulls after keeping for seconds year.
    British Friesian bull calves will make a bit less at mart than red and whites because of color

    With the MRIs and montys much lower selection here in Ireland, at least with a Br Fr or average high EBI HO you will get a cow who is bred to be as profitable as possible in a grass based system. That's a very open answer to a very open question I'll admit, the disadvantages really do depend on what sort of system you want them to milk in, and what your existing cow type is.
