Help hanging a mirror

    Hi everyone,

I bought a 44kg mirror today. I'm going to hang it on a masonry wall. I'm just wondering what size bolts I will need? I see these in b&q http://www.diy.com/departments/rawlplug-metal-anchor-bolt-pack-of-2/254711_BQ.prd

Would they be sufficient or would I need something bigger? There are two hooks at the back of the mirror so it has to be hung from two points in the wall. I'm hanging the mirror on a wall between two terrace houses and I'm not sure of the thickness of the wall so I'm hoping not to drill to deep.

    Thanks, Steve

Are you sure it's 44kg and not 4.4 kg. Either way those bolts should be sufficient to hang it.

That's a serious amount of weight, Rawl bolts should do the job, is there a metal wire on the back of it?

With the amount if weight I'd consider using a French cleet to distribute the weight along the wall/mirror.

    Dear sterio steve
I have used thes plugs myself, and they will hold allmost anything. But please get other opinions to be sure
The wall you are going into will be at least a brick width 41/2" and two fixing points should be plenty but please check with oters!
Boy Steve this is some Mirror 44kg
