Our washing machine model zwf 1421 stopped working today. It is giving the error code 43 which is to do with the door switch. I took the door switch off and switched on the machine , the door lock does not engage even though there is a phase and neutral at the switch. Also the third contact on the switch ( Orange wire )…

Our washing machine model zwf 1421 stopped working today. It is giving the error code 43 which is to do with the door switch. I took the door switch off and switched on the machine , the door lock does not engage even though there is a phase and neutral at the switch. Also the third contact on the switch ( Orange wire ) doesn't get a supply when I close the switch manually. I presumed that when the switched closed it put a supply on to the main control board via the Orange wire but no joy. I bridged out the switch and put 220v directly to the Orange wire but still nothing happens.
