Got a Vodafone Huawei HG658c and an older version HG55VDFA.
Is there anyway I can use the HG55VDFA to extend the wireless signal of the HG658c?

I suppose set up a wireless bridge... if that can be done.

If you run a cable you can use it as a wireless access point by disabling DHCP, the firewall and NAT.

So wouldn't be possible as a wireless bridge without a cable?

Not unless you can find a better firmware for it, that functionality will not be available
